Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut is currently seeking a full-time Veterinarian with a focus and strong interest in medicine to join our Internal Medicine Department as our team continues to grow! This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded 24 hour full-service practice.
Our staff includes primary care and emergency veterinarians, specialists in medicine, surgery, anesthesia and emergency and critical care and a licensed physical therapist, and provides comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, emergency and rehabilitation/post-surgical care. The selected individual will be responsible for providing excellent medical care to our patients with the Internal Medicine service. They will help oversee the care of patients transferred to the Internal Medicine Service under the collaboration of our boarded specialists, including review of history, completion of physical exam, development of diagnostic plan and interpretation of results as well as implementation of a comprehensive treatment plan and client communication. The hospital is fully equipped with non-invasive digital radiography, ultrasound technology, dental care, a surgical suite, in house laboratory, in house MRI, rehabilitation center, pharmacy and much more!
