Job Title: Veterinary Practice Support Lead
Position Type: Full-Time Exempt
Reports to: Director of Operations
Job Purpose: Oversees a common coding language that enables hospitals to effectively track and charge for the services and products used in a Veterinary Hospital. Responsible for training, implementation, and maintenance of the practice management system code file. Develops each of the individual associates. Understands and promotes the Pet Partners company culture and instills it in the department.
•Oversees the common setup and security of all practice management software.
•Creates a common database that enables us to analyze results and communicate efficiently andeffectively (ie. Scorecard, Reminders, Dental Promo)
•Forward thinks to improve and develop efficiencies amongst the code file team, hospitals, andPIMs.
•Develop onboarding training program for new code file associates
oAccomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems and productivity standards.
oMaintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards for the hospitals; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; recommending system improvements.

•Support the onboarding of new hospitals trough managing code file transitions
Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent interpersonal and phone skills. Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills, databases or Microsoft Access, and SharePoint experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Previous experience as a veterinary Practice Manager or veterinary leadership preferred. Prior experience with Cornerstone, Avimark, and Impromed software also preferred.
