Associate Veterinarian

We are looking for an energetic and friendly veterinarian to join our two somewhat rural practices (currently 3 1/2 veterinarians) just outside of Oak Ridge and Knoxville, TN.  All after hours/emergencies are referred to one of two local ER's so your time can be your own.   We maintain a family atmosphere for our clients, trying to make them feel welcome to participate in the medical decisions that we propose so that we can fit their budgets (which vary greatly).  Our goal it thoughtful, high end medicine and  surgical solutions (within our capabilities) to keep us from getting bored.  We are open to various modalities including traditional "Western," as well as nutritional, therapy laser, etc...  We are reasonably fast paced, but not such that it should be overwhelming and deter from the enjoyment of solving medical puzzles and helping your patients.  We are veterinary geeks, working to keep ourselves and one another up to date through ongoing study and CE.  Find your home in our practice where cooperation not competition is the key to all of us working at our best.  Why not love where you work?  Digital radiography, Heska in house Labs.   All new, high end dental equipment at both clinics as well as biomed monitoring equipment.  You'll be nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains with all the beauty and adventure these offer.   We have fantastic hiking, flat water river kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding, as well as biking opportunities (including Haw Ridge mountain biking area which is nationally renowned) within our county.   We are not corporate owned and have no plans to become such.
