Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant

Small, busy, mixed animal practice (exotics heavy) looking for EXPERIENCED part-time or full-time receptionist/assistant. Primary responsibility will be reception (phones, check-in/out appointments, payment processing, etc), but all staff are crossed trained to assist vet/techs (animal restraint, animal husbandry, sample prep, cleaning, etc).

Candidates must: be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, have excellent attendance, have excellent communication skills, be compassionate and friendly, be able work well alone and as a team, keep calm in stressful situations. Prior experience in an animal hospital/shelter REQUIRED. Knowledge of Idexx Cornerstone a plus. Salary based on experience. Paid vacation, sick days, and health insurance for full-time.
