Veterinarian for GP Flex at Hillcrest Animal Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee

Are you looking for the flexibility of a relief schedule with the security of a permanent position and full-time benefits?  Hillcrest Animal Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a veterinarian to join the team with a new schedule offering – GP Flex.  GP Flex allows you to maximize your professional development and career satisfaction as a General Practice Veterinarian while building a fulfilling, eventful life outside of work.

Hillcrest Animal Hospital GP Flex clinicians will work a schedule of 12 shifts per 4 weeks for a straight salary of $120,000 and up to $20,000 in travel reimbursement (for non-local candidates) and signing/retention bonuses.  We offer a variety of schedule options to suit your lifestyle including but not limited to: 3 shifts per week, 6 shifts on/8 shifts off, etc.

We are a flourishing practice with a talented staff.  We’re able to thoroughly address our patients’ needs with an Abaxis suite, digital radiology, ultrasound, Tonopen, doppler bp unit, therapeutic laser, stem cell therapy equipment and much more.  A radiologist visits as needed to perform ultrasounds and echocardiograms.  Our large surgical suite is equipped for both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.  There are nearby emergency clinics and a specialty clinic to take care of all of your referral needs.   

Our ideal candidate functions well in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with clients.  Interest in orthopedic surgery is preferred but not required.

Memphis is an excellent place to enjoy a healthy work-life balance. Plenty of outdoor attractions and Beale Street, Graceland, world-famous barbecue restaurants, several craft breweries and the Memphis Zoo are all convenient to Hillcrest.  The cost of living is low.
