Associate Veterinarian

B.W. Furlong & Associates is seeking a full time associate in equine ambulatory practice with additional emphasis on referral hospital emergency admissions. This position is primarily an ambulatory role with rotating hospital emergency admission and case management responsibilities. Support will be provided to the associate by board-certified internal medicine specialists and/or surgeons. Ambulatory caseload will be varied and diverse, but will largely fall under the umbrella of general practice. The position includes working with a large but close-knit and supportive veterinary team that includes ambulatory veterinarians with all levels of experience, as well as specialists in several different fields. The ideal candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, a positive attitude with a team mentality, and a commitment to providing world class care for our patients.
