Generous CE allowance ($2500 per year) where doctors are encouraged to learn new skills to help grow themselves and the hospital. Prefer either interned trained or have 3 years general practice experience, new graduates considered who are highly motivated to work hard and love to learn. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about veterinary medicine and is confident in their abilities and social interactions. Someone who really enjoys working with clients, keeping pets healthy, and healing them. Ideal candidate would possess great communication skills, be highly motivated to help pets and their people, and practice sound medicine. Surgical skills desired: proficient with routine spay/neuter, dental surgery including extractions and flaps, mass removals. Additional surgical skills a plus include cystotomies, splenectomy, foreign body removal and exotic surgery. Surgical skills not required. Integrative and holistic approach is also valued. Interest in avian and exotics a plus but not required.
