Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Westfield Small Animal Clinic has a current opening for an ambitious, full-time, veterinary technician or assistant.  We are a busy, 3 doctor, full-service clinic.  Our renovated clinic includes a large surgical suite with separate prep. room, digital x-ray, ultrasound, an in-house lab and six exam rooms. In addition to traditional medicine, we offer chiropractic's, acupuncture and laser therapy. We also provide a cremation service and operate a 40+ kennel boarding facility. 

Technician duties include but are not limited to: surgical prep/monitoring, blood draws and processing lab work, assisting with exams, providing appropriate care for hospitalized and boarding patients, client care and general office up-keep.

Clinic hours are M-F 8am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-3pm; position will be 4 days a week (day off to be determined), and Saturdays on a rotating basis.  We offer 24-hour emergency services; paid on-call hours will be required on a rotating basis and includes after hours, weekends, and holidays. 

Pay and benefits negotiable based on experience.

Licensed preferred, however, experience will be considered.
