VETERINARIAN – AAHA accredited hospital Bucktown/Wicker Park- Chicago, IL

We are a 4 doctor AAHA accredited primary care hospital in the heart of the Bucktown/Wicker Park area of Chicago. Established in 1957, we have a long history of excellent patient care and client service. We are looking for a full-time veterinary associate.

Our hospital is well-established, spacious, fully equipped and practices highly progressive medicine, surgery and dentistry.  We see cats and dogs only and pride ourselves on a collaborative, team environment and a work/life balance. We have an awesome and skilled support staff, a dedicated technician and assistant for each doctor and a professional but fun, easy-going work environment.  There is lots of room for professional and personal growth and mentorship from senior doctors if desired.

The schedule is about  38 -40 hours/week – there are no after hour emergency calls or being on-call nights or weekends. We are closed on Sundays and offer two Saturdays off per month and  3 day weekends monthly.     

Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and compassionate team player with a strong work ethic, great communication skills and a love of working with people as well as pets.
