Tallgrass Veterinary Hospital is located less than 1.5 hours from Manhattan, KS and 45 minutes north of I70. This clinic was built in 2008 and is well-equipped for both small and large animal veterinary medicine. The goal of this externship/internship is to host veterinary students (2 weeks+) to help further their education so they are better equipped following graduation. Textbook learning is important but applying the classroom knowledge to real life is vital for success.  Students will work assisted by the seasoned doctors to experience all types of veterinary medicine. This opportunity is meant to help students boost their knowledge and confidence so they can be successful practitioners.
