Ahwatukee Animal Care Hospital and Pet Resort has been providing exceptional veterinary services in the Ahwatukee community for over 25 years! We are an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary hospital, providing care for dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and exotics. We treat our patients as if they are our very own and pride ourselves in building strong, long-term relationships with our clients to ensure that their pets are receiving the best possible medical care. We are proud of our skilled, friendly, and cooperative team who is dedicated to the highest level of patient and client care.
Our 6,000 sq. ft. free-standing veterinary hospital is well-equipped with advanced equipment and technology to provide the highest standard of care. In addition to our in-house pharmacy, our hospital has the equipment to provide comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, EKG, and ultrasound. Additionally, we offer dentistry with two dental areas, behavioral counseling, nutritional counseling, microchipping, therapeutic laser therapy, a well appointed two-bay surgery suite, and a large well-equipped treatment room.
Our Doctor and Team: Dr. Velazquez-Lugo is our current veterinarian. She enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine. She has 7+ excellent well-trained support staff/team members. We are hiring another doctor that truly loves caring for pets. The Hospital doctor team is the heart of patient care where they diagnose, educate, consult, establish plans of care, and perform routine surgery, and anesthesiology.
