Companion Animal Hospital was founded in 1995, and it has continued to grow and serve the community ever since. Our full service staff of 8 doctors, 15 veterinary technicians as well as qualified receptionists and veterinary assistants still strive to provide personal care.
As a team, we provide a broad range of veterinary services including wellness care, acupuncture, in house laboratory, digital radiology, nutritional counseling, orthopedic surgery including tplo , reproductive health and services, and a canine rehabilitation program. There are two high quality emergency clinics in the area that provide overnight and weekend emergency services for our patients.
Our hospital also offers:
- 6 examination rooms, one of which is a comfort room designed for prolonged visitation and end of life passing.

About the area:
Mount Joy is considered a rural area but with that comes very well productive dairy farms, and hobby farms. Overall an economically sound and secure place to call home. We are located next to Elizabethtown which is a small college town and home to a 4 year private college. Harrisburg, our state capital, is 20 minutes away. Skills and Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. Licensure in good standing to practice in Pennsylvania.
