We are looking for a veterinarian to provide limited service / minor medical options for the local community. We are committed to reducing the stress on veterinarians and maintaining an excellent life / work balance.
Location
Community Veterinary Clinic is located in Vero Beach, Florida. Vero is a small beach town that is determined to maintain its charm and personality even as it grows. The area has an eclectic group of locally owned restaurants and shops both on the beach and on the mainland. The beaches are beautiful with minimal crowds and parking is free (something you don’t see in many beach towns) West Palm Beach and Orlando (both with international airports) are within a 90-minute drive and easy to get to when craving a bit of city life. The Vero community is warm and welcoming and extremely pet friendly.
Practice Overview
Community Veterinary Clinic is a family-owned veterinary clinic that provides first-opinion primary preventative care for animals. We are a higher volume - lower cost option for the area. We have in-house Idexx Lasercyte Dx, Catalyst One and Sedivue Dx. Digital radiographs with SignalPet reviews on every patient, and there is also a small ultrasound machine. We do elective surgeries for the community. Currently, we do not do emergency medicine / surgery and do limited weekends. The practice is actively growing and we are planning to expand. This is a great opportunity to grow with us and be part of an expanding practice.
We are committed to giving back to our community both at home and abroad and we hold a free rabies vaccine clinic once a year for the community. In addition we have partnered with Washington State University and Rabies Free Africa and created a Rabies Vaccine Program in Malawi, Central Africa. If traveling, adventure and conservation are important to you, you’ll get the opportunity to pursue your passions with our clinic.
We are also committed to creating a reasonable cost option for our area that provides limited services. We utilize the numerous referral options in our area and work on creating an efficient service that is of value to our community, whilst hopefully reducing the stress and working hours on the veterinarian. If you have an interest in creating efficient services / products and working on options that both work for the community whilst maintaining the mental health and work / life balance of the team, then we would be interested to talk to you.
