At Button Veterinary Hospital we consider our clients and the pets as family. We are a fun-loving group with a team of compassionate and hard-working staff. We are in search of the right veterinarian to join our team. We have a variety of personalities that mesh well together and want our next veterinarian to first and foremost care about our patients and clients and endeavor to provide high quality medicine, create lasting relationships with our clients and be willing to share your knowledge with both our veterinarians and our support staff. We are open to both part-time and full-time associates. Everyone says it, but we value a work/life balance for all of our staff and think we do a good job!
Button Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, well-established (founded in 1920), full-service small animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. Located in the Nalley Valley neighborhood in Tacoma, we have treated pets for 4 and 5 generations of families in the South Puget Sound. We consider our patients part of our family and approach veterinary care as such. Our goal is to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and full service veterinary health care. We currently provide care for dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets but would be open to expanding if a new associate had a particular interest in other species.
We are seeking a motivated candidate for a long-term association with potential for ownership to join our team of 3+ DVMs. We have an excellent staff, modern equipment (digital radiography both standard and dental, in-house lab, comprehensive surgical monitoring, etc.) and a collegial environment. We also have access to specialists at two local referral centers.
We are in the process of planning a major remodel to accommodate our growing clientele, expand our services and improve our overall work environment. We are open to expanding our services to include a candidate’s specials interest such as ultrasound, class IV therapeutic laser therapy, surgical, holistic care, behavioral, etc.
