Politicians are targeting marginalized communities, making cities and states uncomfortable and unsafe for many. Shrinking reproductive rights, anti-LGBTQ+ and racially-motivated strategies are the unfortunate reality elsewhere. If you’re looking for a safe space in the increasing storm of intolerance, we have a place for you!
Access Veterinary Care is hiring DVMs in beautiful Minnesota, in the Twin Cities metro area. While known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”, it’s so much more. Bountiful outdoor activities, a dynamic arts scene, music everywhere, and museums galore. More importantly, Minnesota provides legal shelters such as reproductive rights and gender-affirming care. Minnesota welcomes the whole you here. At Access Veterinary Care, you are safe and respected, both as a person and a professional. Our differences are what builds our understanding and compassionate team. That’s our baseline, and it only gets better.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000. Competitive benefits, CE and relocation available. Opportunity for leadership as we continue to grow.
At Access Veterinary Care, we strive to be an inclusive space for everyone no matter the economic, cultural, or ethnic background, sexuality, gender identity, or people’s knowledge on pet care. Since we opened in 2018, we've not only been able to support that philosophy with our clients, but with our staff as well. We provide pet care in a judgment free and caring space, and are looking for DVMs that want to do the same. This is done through lots of simple things, like asking client pronouns on intake forms and respecting financial limitations through a “spectrum of care” approach.
While Access Veterinary Care is primarily an urgent care center, we also offer a number of additional services including preventative care, surgery (dentals, soft tissue, orthopedics and spay/neuter), and chronic disease management. The mix of services and case variety ensures that there are no boring days! Our talented support staff maximize their skills to allow DVMs to focus on doctor-level responsibilities.
If you have read this far and are still intrigued, then drop us a line and let’s chat.
Access Veterinary Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment regardless of race, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability status, genetics, military/veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local laws. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
At Access Veterinary Care, our mission is to increase access to care and inspire other clinics to adopt a socially considerate practice. We take a whole family approach to serving our community pets. Our expansive financing options and transparency in pricing allows us to take some of the financial stress away from veterinary decisions. Supplemental financial gifts from our Access community, also provides some room for our DVMs to passionately continue treating pets in lieu of qualifying financial assistance.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive space for everyone no matter the economic, cultural, or ethnic background, sexuality, gender identity, or people's knowledge on pet care. Since we opened in 2018, we've not only been able to support that philosophy with our clients, but with our staff as well. We provide pet care in a judgment free and caring space. This is accomplished in many ways, from asking for our client's pronouns when they register with us, to enforcing a zero-tolerance policy for discriminatory behavior. Clients can be sure that they are respected and protected by our team, and our team can be sure that they are welcome to live authentically, with no judgment or concern for discrimination.
