VCA Hope Animal Hospital in Brooklyn, New York is seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to lead our tenured DVM team as Medical Director.

Join our diverse and knowledgeable team!  Our well-equipped facility features digital radiograph unit, Digital dental radiology and ultrasound unit.

This position will work a set 4-day week with an alternating Saturday schedule.

Our doctors and team work together as mini teams so you will always have a go-to person during exams and procedures.  Our weekly schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM with two shifts 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM.   Our Saturday hrs. are from 8:00 AM -6:00 PM with two shifts 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM -6:00 PM. We do not have on-call hours.  

Hope Animal Hospital is located in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, Boerum Hill. Conveniently located near 11 subway lines and the LIRR, the Barclay Center, BAM, Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill. 

A brief stroll from our hospital will lead you to so many shopping and eating options from department stores like Macy’s and Target to wonderful small boutiques and specialty shops, restaurants and Bars.  If you would like to go to Manhattan, we are just minutes away by subway.

This position is intended to be performed in full or in part in the City of New York - The salary range for this position is $175K - $200K

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $175K - $200K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
