Palmyra Animal Clinic is looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to our team. We have four locations, serving Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Palmyra, and Pine Grove, PA and have been serving our community since 1985. New grads are welcome to apply! For any veterinarian wanting mentorship in surgery, this is the position for you! Our veterinarians are proficient in most orthopedic surgeries, as well as advanced soft tissue surgeries.
We are a full service hospital, offering the best in medical and surgical care. To support this, we have full in house labs, digital x-ray, ultrasound, a CT machine (the next closest CT is an hour and a half away), and 24 hour monitoring of hospitalized patients. We understand the importance of physical therapy and have a rehabilitation center equipped with an underwater treadmill, K and cold laser therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and a land treadmill. We even provide transportation from our other locations to Palmyra as a convenience for our clients.
Located near Hershey and Harrisburg, our four practices are well positioned to enjoy all Pennsylvania has to offer. If you enjoy the outdoors, our area allows for plenty of kayaking, riverboat tours, playing in parks, attending rodeos, exploring the Capital Area Greenbelt, and hiking the Appalachian trail. A segment of the trail runs right behind our Pine Grove hospital, so it is not unusual for a hiker and their dog to stop in for a wellness exam. Also, if you have a sweet tooth, we have access to the best chocolate and milkshakes in the US. If you want to take a quick getaway to a larger city, Palmyra is within easy driving distance to Philadelphia, Washington, DC, New York City, and Pittsburgh.
