The City of Norfolk's Department of General Services is currently seeking a Veterinary Technician that provides daily care to exotic and domestic animals in exhibits and holding facilities. Participates in education, conservation and research involving the animal collection. Supervises the veterinary clinic operations and medical care program under the general direction of Animal Division management and the Veterinarian.   Essential functions include but are not limited to:  Interpret medical histories and relay pertinent information to the Clinic Director.  Safely and humanely restrain companion animals with an emphasis on fear free and low stress techniques.  Accurately record medical information into the clinic software.  Ad
