Rio Grande Animal Hospital has been a staple of the North Valley in Albuquerque for over 5 decades!  And we are still fiercely independent - something not easy to say in this day and age.
We are looking for the right person (or persons) who can thrive in an environment of respect, cooperation and unwavering commitment to patient care.

We are looking to grow our practice and need that one "anchor" to really bond the staff and clients.  Our doctor(s) will want to be self-starters, able to work with as much or as little collaboration as they want.  You may work one day a week as the only doctor, most days with a colleague.  But the owner and other doctors are ALWAYS near by to provide guidance, support, advice or just be a sounding board for ideas.
If you choose to do more, we can mentor you to take on director or admin responsibilities.  We are even offering immediate (after 90 days) equity position in the practice for the right person, or even work towards ownership.  Our owner and business manager have 20 years experience each and willing to share all they know.

Our building is small compared to others but we are looking to expand in the very near future. And we will need the right doctors to take us to the next level:

Great Quality of LIfe - we mean it! :  Your work week will be 4 days a week and every other Saturday (1/2 day), unless you wish to work flex or part-time.  No after-hours or weekend emergencies.  Plenty of time for charting and reviewing results built in to the day.
