We are primarily a general practice, but we have a growing need to provide Urgent Care to our patients and loyal client base and are looking to fulfill this need.  Our hospital is equipped with modern diagnostics including: digital radiology, ultrasound, full in-house laboratory equipment, cold therapy laser and more. We would prefer the veterinarian in this role to have 5 years of experience or be internship trained.  This position offers the opportunity to practice urgent care medicine in a daytime, lower-stress environment- perfect for experienced veterinarians who enjoy problem solving and managing same-day medical cases without the pace and hours of an ER setting. 

We are looking to hire two full time veterinarians working 3, 12 hour shifts per week. You will be given a competitive base salary + ProSal. We are currently a 5-doctor practice looking to expand our offerings and services to our clients. We are a full-service animal hospital and we welcome emergency cases as well as patients in need of routine preventive care. Our facility is equipped with modern diagnostics including: Digital radiology, ultrasound, full in-house laboratory equipment (CBC/Chemistry blood machines, I-Stat, microscopes, etc), digital dental radiography, high speed dental drill and scaler, cold therapy laser and surgical laser. At Patton Veterinary Hospital we consider ourselves a progressive hospital. We were the first hospital to be Fear Free certified in Pennsylvania. We have been AAHA certified for several decades and are a Gold Status Certified Feline Practice.We have an 8,500 square foot building with a total of 9 exam rooms, 3 of which are in our Cat Hospital wing. We have embraced a variety of technological advances that help to improve client service and patient care.
